You Know You're Getting Old When...

... this is how your ankle looks after playing one game of flag football!!

Bryan has started his annual flag football games. He landed wrong on his ankle during the game and this is what it looked like two days later. Bryan and I have diagnosed him with 'Old Man Syndrome'! Haha. I guess that's what happens when you sit in a classroom or work in the hospital all day for three years. His team has won their first two games so they are doing well. I will post some pictures of their next game. Stay tuned for more injuries!

Ouch!! I remember dad's ankle looking the very same way after a basketball game and he was about B's age. Tell B, "ice, ibroprofen, and stretch" - isn't that what Grandpa Doug always says? Do I see a little BYU blue in those colors?
love, mom

oh man! That's gotta hurt! Tell B I say he should start wearing ankle braces and knee pads...maybe even a helmet when he plays any type of sport:) That video of Niah is hilarious. Me and Pres watched it 3 times and she was crackin up and would say "gain, gain" (again). loved it!

This post made me laugh out loud! Not because Bryan got hurt (that really stinks), but because it made me remember when Justin broke his finger playing flag football our first year out here! I seem to remember him saying something about how he was getting too old for stuff like this (and yet, he's still playing...). I hope Bryan feels better soon. Being injured is a bummer.

Hey B, that reminds me of the time you were trying to show Weston and Denton how to "Properly" jump a bike in the lot next to our house only that one was worse by far! It looks like it hurt but you're tough right?! Mom wants to know if she needs to send out ankle braces or if you have one.
Love ya!
