Annual Apple Picking

We made a trip to the apple orchard yesterday. It's our favorite thing to do in the fall. I miss Vermont so bad, so this orchard gave me my Vermont fix! We had a blast and it was a beautiful day.
Bennett loved to pick up the apples and put them in the bag. Towards the end he just liked to throw them.

The bag is so heavy...

Chloe took the bag away from me!

This picture is on here twice for some reason, but it's cute, I guess.

My darling kids. I love them.

The weather was so nice. We just hung out and played after we had filled our bag. The kids let me take pictures and they ran around being silly. It was a great time. I want to go again!

I Figured It Out!

I figured out what was wrong with my uploading so hopefully, it is fixed now! Here is the picture I really wanted to post. This is us standing in front of the 'Touchdown Jesus' right before the game started. Every time we drive by it, my girls say, "Mom, there's the Jesus Touchdown!"

These are just some more random pictures from the past few days. Benny got a wagon from my mom and dad for his birthday and he loves it. Chloe and Bennett usually ride in it to take/pick-up Niah at the bus stop.

Bryan got Bennett a bike seat so that we can all go on a family bike ride. He likes to pat my back while we're riding. He gets the giggles when he does it. So cute.

Here's another one of my bike. I look like I just woke up or something- lazy Sunday afternoon!

Here are my sweet girls. Chloe was playing 'neighbor' and found all the snow stuff in the closet. She said it was going to snow outside at her house. Don't you love the flip-flops with the other winter gear?!?

Frustration

My computer is being dumb lately. I'm a little frustrated with it. Some of my pictures won't upload into Picasa. (If anyone knows a solution I would be happy to hear it!) Anyway, I have been dying to post about the date Bryan and I went on last week. Bryan won tickets to the opening game of Notre Dame football. To avoid traffic, we decided to ride our bikes to the game, but I didn't have a bike. So, what did Bryan do? He went to Walmart and bought me this cute cruiser bike. I LOVE it! That's the best $75 bucks Bryan has ever spent! haha. The stadium is only about 10 minutes away, driving, so it was quick on our bikes and our traffic plan worked! We didn't have any trouble at all.
Here's Bryan outside the stadium. I love that stadium. It still has the old wooden benches that were there in the old days. Yes, we wore our Notre Dame shirts!

I have a picture of us standing in front of the 'Touchdown Jesus' mural, but it's one that will not upload onto my computer. We had an absolute blast at the game. It was so great to go with just Bryan. He has been busy and it was great to have that time to ourselves. I can't wait to go to the Notre Dame vs. Utah game. (Thanks to my grandpa for getting us tickets.) Even though I graduated from the U, we will be cheering for Notre Dame!!

Little Divas

I have decided to decorate the girls room with a shabby chic/Hollywood diva theme. The walls are empty right now and they really need something to spice them up. We have been talking about taking pictures of the girls for a while now so Chloe talked me into doing it over the weekend. She got really into it. I have never been able to get Chloe to pose for me and when she finally did I was in heaven!! Niah on the other hand, was not so into it. I had to bribe her and talk her into posing for me, which is not normal for her. I was worried I wouldn't get any cute ones of her because she kind of had her poopy pants on. But, in the end they turned out beautifully!
Here are some of my favorites...

They each picked out their own outfits. As you can see, Chloe went total glam and Niah went with 'fine I'll put on a skirt for you!' We went all out with make-up, curling hair, and the sparkly beads. I can't wait to get these hung up on their walls. It will add a lot to their black, white, and pink bedding.

Here we are at the top of Niah's castle!

Here's Niah and her best friend Addi playing in the dirt!
