Lately, I have been feeling very grateful for these three little people. I love them so much! They make my life so great. I'm so lucky to be their mother.
I thought I would post some funny things that Niah has been saying lately.
*Last night, while Niah was laying in bed she yells out to Bryan and I, "I've been away from Jesus for four years!" Bryan says back, "Yep, do you miss him?!" Niah said, "Ya, I guess I do!" That's all she said and then it was quiet. How sweet is that?!
*Coming home on the airplane a couple of days ago, we were flying over the ocean into Boston. Niah looked out the window and said, "Mom, what if we crash in the ocean? A shark would eat us and we'd die in his throat!" I'm sure the other passengers around us could hear her. We got a good laugh out of that one!
* The other night, Niah was saying her prayers before bed and at the end of her prayer she said, "and Bless that we can get a new couch!" Bryan and I were laughing pretty hard. I have to admit that I have prayed for that too.
*A few days ago, Niah dropped one of her princess magnets down the drain in our bathroom. She was really sad and upset when it happened, but eventually got over it. A couple of days later she was in the bathroom and she must have remembered what happened. She started bawling and very seriously she said, "I dropped my princess magnet down the drain. This ruined my life!!" I wish something as simple as that would 'ruin' my life too.
*The other day, Niah was playing dress-up. She was wearing one of her dress- up rings. Gavin is our neighbor and we play all the time together. Niah loves him. Niah: "Mom, Gavin gave me this ring when we got married." Mom: "Oh really, when did you get married?" Niah: "It was while ago, you weren't born yet. Gavin is my prince. I love him!"
*We read scriptures every night as a family and the other night Niah wanted to read. So she opened up her little Book Of Mormon and this is what she read us- Niah: "And it came to pass that the mean guys put Jesus on the cross and then he was resurrected." I guess she really does listen to what Bryan and I have been trying to teach her!
*In church on Sunday, Niah asked Bryan, "is through that wall how you get to heaven?" (She was referring to the big white wall behind the pulpit!)

This blog is dedicated to my Grandma Saundra. Maybe she is reading from Heaven.
Bryan and I met at Snow College and got married in Dec. of 2002. Bryan graduated from BYU with a degree in Biology and is currently in his medical residency in South Bend, IN. I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. We have three adorable children. Niah is six, Chloe is four, and Bennett will be two in July. I am a stay at home mom and wouldn't have it any other way. We are enjoying Indiana and we love life!
